It is advisable not to use the word God in English
but rather we should say Allah
because the word God in English can become feminine to some
but Allah we know for sure is The One and can never be feminine or even plural

There is no God but Allah . Allah is the only god in the universe
When we say God we mean Allah for sure
A word "God" is existed in all languages
Muslims believe in one god whose name is Allah

When We invite non-muslims to our religion we should explain to them that a word "God" should only mean (Allah), and this word should be understood exclusivly in that meaning

it would be necessary for the first time to clarify to them that the word God that you say we refer to it as Allah
but later on wouldn't it be better to use the word Allah

in Arabic, God = إله
both the English and arabic word can be used in faminine or plural, however i agree that it's better for us "Muslims" to use Allah instead of God

In English, there is a difference between god and God.
god = إله

God = الله
Also the correct figure for Shahada is
There is no god but God

It is important to use the word God in the west to prove to them that we are not worshiping another God and our God is their God (as the Quran mentioned). For a lot of ignorants, they think that our concept of Allah is similar to the concept of Budah and Krishna (Ta3alla Allah 3oulouwan kabira).
