Two weeks ago I presented a review of articles which I have read about on a certain issue.
But I didn't know that it was supposed to be a real formal presentation. I thought it was supposed to be just a short talk about what we have written in the report and reflection on it....


I could tell that my presentation was terrible, but I didn't want to discuss with my professor the reason behind that because I know she would think I am finding excuses... well that was my first presentation in 7 years........
add to it ... it was spontaneous


Anyhow, the good news is that she was later impressed by the report that I have written, and wrote the following comments on it:

Excellent job !
Your presentation did not give justice to the outstanding job reviewing those articles, making sense of their findings, and reflecting on them.
You are an outstanding learner, critical thinker, and I hope you will feel confident to loudly reveal it to the world.
Keep up the good work.

She is wise and smart and she knows what she is doing. You have strong critical thinking capabilities but you are limiting yourself sometimes.

Just by reading your teacher's comments I could tell that she is either foreign or have lived abroad for a long time (the US mainly), this in itself is a plus, because it has been my personal experience that teachers and professors of the local variety are rarely objective and usually consider a good student like yourself a threat.

she has been living in the US for a time although she is lebanese
and this is her first year here
and she has been teaching there

She seems to be a good teacher who considers teaching a mission and not just a job, I hope she has the patience and perseverence to to stay and I hope your interaction with her yields a positive result like her guidance to Islam

actually she is a muslim

but maybe she would need some guidance to hijab

anyhow , from her talking I heard hear say : sallah Allah alaih wa sallam , twice, when she had to mention the name of the prophet
