The day when I decided to forget …
I broke my pens … I burnt my papers
Squeezed my heart with my own hand…
And flicked the fragrant dew away
I traced all the tracks … obscured all the ruins …
I shut some doors … and opened others …
I threw my memos to the stormy winds…
And scattered all my words …
Then I sat, observing placidly …this dear victory…
Tickling my mournful vanity … praising my strong will …
How easy has it been … simple … elegant …
I closed the window to my memories … and sat down …
I sat down … in calm …
To remember ...
what I have forgotten …
And build it back … block by block …
Until it was again … what it first had been …
And then …
I decided to forget …
I broke my pens … I burnt my papers
Squeezed my heart with my own hand…
And flicked the fragrant dew away
I traced all the tracks … obscured all the ruins …
I shut some doors … and opened others …
I threw my memos to the stormy winds…
And scattered all my words …
Then I sat, observing placidly …this dear victory…
Tickling my mournful vanity … praising my strong will …
How easy has it been … simple … elegant …
I closed the window to my memories … and sat down …
I sat down … in calm …
To remember ...
what I have forgotten …
And build it back … block by block …
Until it was again … what it first had been …
And then …
I decided to forget …
