الصحوات كؤوس فارغة (http://qawim.net/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=1747&Itemid=1) في البدء كان عراق ما بعد الاحتلال تتنازعه قوتان: قوة الاحتلال وأنصاره، وقوة المقاومة ومؤيدوها والتي انطلقت بعد أيام قلائل من الاحتلال، وبمرور الوقت أضيفت قوة قتالية ثالثة وهي الميليشيات التي اتخذ بعضها من الأجهزة الأمنية غطاء له فكانت فرق الموت ، أو اتخذت من جيش المهدي ذراعا لها ، وبعد أربع سنوات ونصف ظهرت الصحوات قوة رابعة.

الفقه السياسي (http://qawim.net/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=1738&Itemid=1) من الضروري للخطاب الإسلاميِّ المعاصر أن يُـفرِّق بين النَّص الثابت بدلالته المُطردة بلا تقييد بزمان أو مكان، وبين الفتوى التي فرضتها ظروف معينة. ومن الضروري لهذا الخطاب أيضاً إدراك القرائن المحتفَّة بالنَّص معها وجوداً وعدماً. وعلى الخطاب الإسلامي - أخيراً- أن يُدرك أنََّ مستجداتٍ ( نوازل ) كثيرة تـفرض علينا التَّعامل معها، وإلحاقها في الدائرة المناسبة لها من مرادات الله سبحانه. وهذه قضيِّةٌ منهجيةٌ دقيقة لعلّي أعرضها للمناقشة في حلقةٍ قادمةٍ بإذن الله تعالى.

One of the first big moves this year was the launch of a troop "surge" by the U.S. government in mid-February. The goal was to improve security in Baghdad and the western al-Anbar province, the two most violent areas. By June, an additional 28,000 troops had been deployed to Iraq, bringing the total number up to more than 160,000.
