I was swirfing some websites
and I come across an English forum which is specialized for people interested in a certain field

how organized it is
and how facilitated it is
especially having the option of adding pictures directly from pc
rather than having to upload them to a personal website ....


and most important of all.. is how generous they are in providing help

I sensed a prevailing atmosphere of seriousness
and keenness

and the members are a mixture of determined knowledge seekers and experts providing help

----
they made me wonder

when we muslims offer help for each other we may say we are doing this for Allah's sake

but when I see 'kuffar' offering free help for each other
or even for muslims
I wonder for what sake they are doing this?

but praise is for Allah that this help still exists
no matter from where it originates?

i changed my mind

when one posts a link for a website that is helpful they remove it

they don't welcome advertising for others

Sister this is regular. When a forum is professional, you should expect more help but less flexibility.

I could not understand this behavior of admiring the forum for one feature and then you changed your mind because they restrict another feature.

i still admire the forum in general
but i meant that i changed my mind on that they don't welcome help that originates from competing websites
