Bicharaf aims at promoting academic integrity and ethical awareness among students, faculty, administrators, and business professionals.


Bicharaf, the initiative for academic integrity and business ethics, was founded in 2004 at the American University of Beirut. Its objectives are to:


Create and enhance academic integrity awareness among students, faculty, and administrators, in Lebanese universities and K-12 schools
Support universities and schools in their quest to instill a culture of integrity on their respective campuses
Assess the state of ethics in businesses and spread integrity among employees
