Duration of Activity: 50 minutes (Whole session).

Objective: By the end of the activity the students are supposed to distinguish between physical and emotional hurt by sorting the situations that would be inflicting emotional hurt under Heart, and those that would be inflicting physical hurt under Band Aid.
Materials: Red Paper, Band Aid , scissors, glue, pens and pencils, Where do I hurt Handouts 1 & 2.
Procedure:
1- The teacher would introduce the Feeling Theme of the week.
2- Then she would brainstorm with the students actions that may induce a hurt, be it physical or emotional
3- The teacher will ask them to sort the brainstormed actions on the board as physical if it needs a band aid, or emotional if it hurts the heart.
4- The teacher would ask the students to work in groups of two, each group will have one set of Handouts 1 &2 and the material.
5- Then asks each group to cut a heart shape from the red paper and stick it on Handout 1, over the shape of the heart.
6- The teacher asks the students to stick the band aid on the band aid place.
7- The teacher asks them to cut the situations from Handout 2.
8- The teacher would ask the students to sort out the cut situations by placing the ones of physical hurt under band aid and those of emotional hurt under heart.
Discussion:
1- The teacher would discuss with the students: how easy would the "physical hurt" be recovered? What can we do to cure it?
2- The teacher would discuss with the students: how easy would the emotional hurt be recovered? What can we do to cure it?
