Aside the obvious health issues, the fact that companies like Coca-Cola are major Zionist supporters, yet are funded tremendously by Muslim consumers, is a HUGE problem...

Stop being part of the problem - be part of the solution...boycott Coca-Cola, McDonald's, Nestle, Starbucks, Disney and Johnson & Johnson's!! (SEE THIS LIST: http://www.inminds.co.uk/boycott-brands.html)

Need for Muslim soft drinks highlighted

Wed, 08 Aug 2007 14:54:17

Vice-Chancellor of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences for Food
and Drug Affairs Hassan Vahidi says Muslims need new soft drinks.

Referring to an upcoming international Islamic soft drinks conference
in Mashhad, Vahidi said, "Soft drinks are an inseparable part of some
families' diet; therefore, it should be determined just how far they
improve or harm the consumers' health."

He regretted that Muslims consume more Western soft drinks than do
the European or American nations which mass-produce them, and hinted
at the hazards of drinking the products excessively.

He said that dietary practices are formed at an early age and hoped
for a reform in food programs of kindergartens and primary schools to
promote healthy diets.

The conference, to be held in Mashhad, is slated for February 2008
and aims to share production methods of various soft drinks with the
other 45 participating countries in hopes of developing newer
technologies and making international investments.
