Is "A" a name of "Allah"

Of course NOT.
So:

Why do you write to us in the email "ISA" for Inshaa Allah.

Why do you tell us "JAK" for Jazaka Allah Kul Khair.

Why do you greet me with "AA" when the greeting of the people of Heaven is "السلام عليكم" "Asslamu Alikum".

Do not forget that السلام" "is also the name of Allah.

Well we are following the footsteps of the west in abbreviating things that are used often. There is no blessing ( ثواب) in saying "Local area Network" so it is OK to say LAN. However there is a blessing (ثواب ) for saying the Name of Allah.

ألا بذكر الله تطمئن القلوب "Alla bizikr Allah tatma'en Alkoloub", Does our heart feels better when we say "A"?

A western scientist made an experiment that showed that the human body feels better and relaxes after saying the word Allah, This applies for All, Muslims or non Muslims.

When the Shaytan wanted to deviate people from worshiping Allah, He did not ask them to disobey Allah directly. Allah Tells us in the Quran لا تتبعوا خطوات الشيطان"" Do not follow the footsteps of the Shaytan for step by step, slowly he takes us to the full extreme of sin.

As an example, when a good religious man died, all felt sad for his death. The Shaytan asked people to build a statue for him to remember this great man and his great believe in Allah. Hundreds of years later people forgot that this man worshiped Allah and they starting worshiping this man as a God. This is how worshiping Idols started.

Ask any one what does "Hi" the greeting used in North America mean. No body remembers and no one cares. For all it is just a Salute. Is this what we want to do to "Asslamu Alikum" to become "AA"?

Just a salute that our great grand children will not know the meaning of? The messenger of Allah tell us that we will follow the footsteps of those before us step by step, even if they go in a hole of a wild animal, we will follow them. Here we are, abbreviating our religious treasures to meaningless words Just to be like the west or mere laziness.

The messenger of Allah tells us that the Day of Judgment will not happen till there is no لا اله الا الله"" I always wondered how could this happen. Now it comes to me that may be we will start abbreviating it till in hundreds in years people forget it and only remember the abbreviations.

When I ask some friends why do you write "AA" instead of "Asslamu Alikum" they say this way we are embarrassed that some westerners or non-Muslims might read it and we do not want to offend them. Should we really be embarrassed of our religion and belief?

Is it embarrassing to wish some body peace?

A westerner once asked me why you say to me Asslamu Alikum. I asked them "what do you prefer Peace, or the meaningless Hi", this person stayed quite for a while and then said "of course I prefer Peace".

Some use the excuse that it saves time! What an excuse? They carefully write pages full of worldly things or nonsense, However when it comes to the name of Allah, we only have the time to write "A".

Take a minute and think about where we are going with these abbreviations.

Let's cherish the treasures Allah gave us. Please do not Call "Allah" "A".

Do you really wish to be part of changing the name of "Allah" on earth to "A"?
