Nizar Sakhnini, 8 November 2006 ([email protected])

War crimes and massacres aimed at ethnic cleansing are part and parcel of the racist and criminal nature of the Zionist entity that was proclaimed on 14 May 1948.

Following the proclamation, LHI (Lohamei Herut Yisrael, the Stern Gang) declared that: “A strong attack on the centers of the Arab population will intensify the movement of the refugees and all the roads in the direction of Transjordan and the neighboring countries will be filled with panic-struck masses…” (Benny Morris, 1948 and After, Israel and the Palestinians, Oxford, Clarendon Press, 1990, p. 37)

After decades of a tragic conflict in and around Palestine the Zionists discovered that Palestinian Arabs did not vanish into thin air and decided to finish the job. In his interview with Ari Shavit published in Ha’aretz on 12 April 2001, Sharon made it clear that his mission is to finish the job that was not completed in 1948. His words were very clear: “The War of Independence has not ended. No. 1948 was just one chapter… And therefore it is impossible to say that we have completed the work and that now we can rest on our laurels…”

Blinded with the Zionist myths and intoxicated with the arrogance of might, the majority of Israeli Jews are unable to see the bankruptcy of Zionism and the need for reconciliation.
